I have just received the following letter from the C.F.A.
Begins.
With regard to the case of the S.S.Tean I hasten to inform you that Marshal Li has sent an urgent
telegram to the division stationed there to despatch troops to the spot, and at the same time Admiral Chan Chat has been instructed to send a gunboat with soldiers to Bias Bay.

We have had this sort of assurance so
often before that I am not much impressed with it.
